Quote Four

"The invention of camera obscura (latin for dark chamber) was attributed to an islamic mathematician, astronomer, and physicist named Ibn al- Haitham or better known as Alhazen, in the 11th century Egypt. However, the principle of camera obscura was probably known to thinkers as early as Aristotle (300 BC)."

It is really interesting to see that cameras have been around for a greater time that I thought. When I conducted my previous research, I found that the first camera was created in the 1800's. The first real camera dates back to Egyptian times, when science was just beginning to blossom. Although photography was not possible yet, the idea was very much alive. The structure of the camera was two very large boxes one inside the other, almost the size of a small house, with one hole on the outside box.
